The only relief sought in the above Writ Petition is that the Respondent No.1 be directed to decide the Application/Appeal filed by the Petitioner being No.2 of 2017 within a particular time frame. The High Power Committee by an order dated 18/03/2017 had rejected the said request made by the Petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, we deem it appropriate to direct the High Power Committee to hear and decide the Application/Appeal filed by the Petitioner being No.2 of 2017 latest by 31/01/2019.
