From the averments made in the petition, it is apparent that before filing this petition seeking a writ of mandamus, the petitioner has not taken benefit of the Grievance Redressal Mechanism which is made available by the respondent No.2- Municipal Corporation and even otherwise, the petitioner has not called upon the Municipal Corporation to take action of demolition of the alleged illegal construction by making a representation.

It will be open for the petitioner to make a complaint in the aforesaid manner. If the petitioner finds that the complaint has not been acted upon within a reasonable time, it will always be open for the petitioner to file a fresh petition seeking necessary reliefs. 3.
