Learned Advocate Miss Shradhha Sawant appointed to represent the Appellant at the cost of the State submits that, vide Order dated 19.8.2019 passed by this Court (Coram:Dama Seshadri Naidu, J.), the applicant/appellant is already permitted to contact her on phone and necessary directions were issued to the jail authorities. The application, therefore, does not survive. 2.

Perusal of Order dated 19.8.2019, passed by coordinate Bench of this Court, makes it clear that, the jail authorities are Chitra Sonawane 1/2

12-criapp-1130-2019.doc directed to provide access to the appellant on phone, so that the applicant can contact learned Advocate Miss Shraddha Sawant. 3.

In this view of the matter, instant application sent by the applicant/appellant through Jail asking for directing learned advocate to meet applicant/appellant by visiting prison and to direct jail authorities to produce him before the Court, no more survives. Applicant/appellant has filed Appeal which needs to be decided by going through record. Hence, personal presence of appellant is not warranted.
