The Civil Application filed by the State Government seeks a stay of execution of the award of compensation. Subject to the Appellant depositing the entire amount awarded with accrued interest with the Trial Court within 16 weeks, there will be a stay on execution. Liberty to the Applicants/original Claimants to apply for a withdrawal of the amount deposited.

In default of making deposit, the stay will be vacated; execution may proceed; and the First Appeal will stand dismissed without further reference to the Court.
