The Petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to the Director of Education / Deputy Director of Education to issue necessary orders, relating to up-gradation of the post of part time librarian to full time librarian in terms of Government Resolution dated 28th June,1994, in furtherance of the recommendations made by the Education Officer (Secondary) on 24th December, 2014. The Petitioner contends that he is functioning as part time librarian in Respondent No.4-School since 1998 onwards. The 1/3

student strength in the school during the relevant period was more than 1000 and as such the post occupied by the Petitioner deserves to be upgraded and the Petitioner shall have to be accommodated as a full time librarian. The proposal tendered to the Education Officer by the Institution has been considered favourably and the same has been forwarded for final approval to the Director of Education on 24.12.2014. The Director of the Education has not taken any decision on the proposal dated 24.12.2014.

In the circumstances, this petition can be disposed of by directing the Director of Education / Deputy Director of Education to take decision on the proposal forwarded by the Education Officer (Secondary) on 24.12.2014 in accordance with the policy framed by the Government on 28.06.1994 and in accordance with the decision rendered by this court in writ petition no. 6630 of 2013 and other companion matters as also writ petition no. 2732 of 2013 decided on 01.04.2015 at Aurangabad Bench, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today and it is accordingly directed.

The Writ Petition is disposed of.
