Having heard learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner and the learned Counsel appearing for Respondent No.1 and taking into consideration the fact that the Petitioner is 71 years old person, in our considered view, this petition can be conveniently disposed of by directing expeditious disposal of following criminal cases pending between the Petitioner and Respondent No.1 :

[1] C.C.No.7771/SS/2007, pending on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate, 67th Court, Borivali. [2] Misc. No. 278/2008 in SS 326/2008 pending on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate, 24th Court, Borivali. [3] Case No. SS/1518/10 pending on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate, 24th Court, Borivali. patilsr 1 / 2

[4] C.No.SS/144 of 2007, pending on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate, 67th Court, Borivali. [5] C.No.SS/121/2013 pending on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate, 67th Court, Borivali.

The learned Metropolitan Magistrates taking up the aforesaid matters are requested to endeavour to dispose of those matters as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties submitted that the disputes between the Petitioner and Respondent No.1 are matrimonial disputes and it is possible that matters can be settled. In the light of this position, the Metropolitan Magistrates may also consider the option of appointing mediator for exploring the possibility of settlement of all disputes.
