The petitioner has sought direction to the respondent jail authorities to transfer him to some other jail.

We do not think that after eight years from filing of the petition, the petitioner's grievance still subsists. In case his grievance still subsists, the petitioner is at liberty to file application with the Superintendent of Jail, who shall consider and decide the same on its own merits and in any case within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3.
