jdk 2 1.cal.45.15.doc P.C.:
This application is made with the prayers to permit the applicant to withdraw its consent for election, as recorded in the Order dated 8.4.2014 and various other ancillary prayers are also made. After arguing at some length, learned counsel fairly conceded that the consent on the basis of which the order dated 8.4.2015 was made, cannot be retrospectively withdrawn so as to nullify the consent order made in L.P.A. No. 154 of 2012. Accordingly, the application is sought to be withdrawn with liberty to raise permissible objections before the Registrar who is conducting the election as the Election Officer and with further liberty thereafter to challenge, in accordance with law, the process of election. It is understood that the process of election may now be completed as expeditiously as practicable.
Application is disposed of accordingly in above terms. [ SMT. V.K.TAHILRAMANI,J. ] [ CHIEF JUSTICE ] kandarkar
