By this application, the applicants have sought to condone the delay of 4 years and 8 months in filing the first appeal against the judgment and award dated 22/05/2013 passed by the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Alibag in Land Acquisition Reference No.246/2000. 2.
The applicants have stated that they are poor agriculturists. They have no financial resources to file the appeal and that they could not arrange the amount of court fee and hence, there is delay in filing the appeal.

Considering the aforesaid grounds and considering the reasons stated in paragraph 3 of the application, which in my considered view, constitute sufficient cause, delay is condoned. 4.
Civil Application No.175 of 2019 stands disposed of. ORDER IN FIRST APPEAL (ST.) NO. 20396 OF 2018 :- 5.
