This is an application seeking expeditious hearing of the appeal against acquittal which is admitted by an order dated 20th February, 2018.

The learned counsel for the Applicant submits that the Applicant happens to be a senior citizen and, therefore, the appeal be heard expeditiously.

The record and proceedings have been sent to the Nasik Court for preparation of paperbook. In view of this, the application deserves to be rejected.

In any case, as on today, this Court is hearing the appeals where the accused are in custody and, therefore, this appeal

28- APPA 1130 of 2018 cannot be heard expeditiously. Liberty to renew the prayer for expeditious hearing after six months. Application stands disposed of accordingly.
