This writ petition arises out of a common judgment and order dated 10th October, 2019 passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal, Mumbai on original applications presented before it by other employees including the respondent herein as well as the judgment and order dated 8th February, 2021 of the said Tribunal on an application of the State of Maharashtra refusing to review the judgment and order dated 10th October, 2019.

It is not disputed at the bar that similar points as raised in this writ petition by the State of Maharashtra & Ors. were raised by them as petitioners in Writ Petition No. 3118 of 2021, and that the said writ petition has since been dismissed by an order dated 9th September, 2021 passed by us. 3.

As the facts and circumstances giving rise to this writ petition are identical to the facts and circumstances on which Writ Petition No. 3118 of 2021 was grounded, the order dated 9th September, 2021 shall also govern the former; hence the writ petition under consideration stands dismissed.
