By the Judgment and Order dated 2nd February 2017, the Applicant has been convicted and sentenced u/s. 302 of IPC by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-2, Kolhapur in Sessions Case No.10 of 2016. Being aggrieved thereby, the Applicant has preferred Criminal Appeal (Stamp) No.646 of 2017.

The prayer made in the present application is to appoint a counsel to represent the Applicant/Appellant in his Appeal. In view of this prayer, we appoint Advocate Mr. Prosper D'Souza, who is on the 'Panel of Advocates of the High Court Legal Services Committee', to represent the Applicant/Appellant in his Appeal.
