1] The claim of the petitioner is that his matter is covered by the order of the Division Bench of this Court passed in the case of Sachin Devkar Vs. State of Maharashtra and Ors. in W.P.No.177 of 2011 decided on 28th April 2011. A prayer has been made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner to dispose of this petition by directing the respondents to examine petitioner's claim and in case the petitioner is similarly placed with that of Sachin Devkar, similar benefit be extended in favour of the petitioner.

2] In view of the aforesaid prayer, we dispose of this petition by

YBG prod-4-wp-7680-14 directing respondent No.4 to examine petitioner's claim and in case the petitioner herein is found to be similarly placed as that of the petitioner in W.P.No.177 of 2011 which was decided by the Division Bench of this Court (supra), the petitioner herein be granted consequential benefits flowing from the said order. Let a decision be taken within two months from today. While considering the claim of the petitioner, the respondent No.4 shall take into consideration the proposal made by respondent No.3 to respondent No.4 in regard to the claim made by the petitioner.
