Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned counsel for the respondents. By this application, the applicant seeks extension of time to deposit the amount of arrears being the

2 502) caw1788-17.doc difference between the ad-interim order of Rs.20,000/- and final compensation of Rs.40,000/- per month upto August 2016 and Rs.50,000/- per month from September 2016 to April 2017. The application is strongly opposed on behalf of the respondents. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that by an order dated 4 May 2017 sufficient time of twelve weeks was granted to the applicant to deposit the said amount. He submits that the reasons which are set out may not be accepted to grant further extension. 3.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and having perused the averments made in the Civil Application, it is in the interest of justice that time is further extended by a period of 8 weeks from today to deposit the arrears as set out in prayer clause (a). No further extension of time on any ground shall be entertained. In case of default, the order passed by this Court on 4 May 2017 shall fully apply.
