The petition is filed for the following reliefs : "(b) That by issuing appropriate Writ/Directions under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, directing the Respondent No.1 to register the F.I.R. in respect of the complaint dated 04/07/16, annexed hereto as Exhibit-G, lodged by the Petitioner against the offenders named in the complaint.

(c) That the directions be issued to Respondent No.1 to conduct the departmental inquiry against Inspector Shri Bhujang Hatmode and Shri H. A. Dokhale, P.S.I. of Satpati Police Station of Taluka and District; Palghar, as the illegal, and corrupt practices had be performed by them"

8 wp 2696.16.doc So far as relief claimed in prayer clause (b) is concerned, Ms. Shinde, learned APP, on instructions, states that the FIR is already registered on 29th September, 2016. The statement is accepted. 3.

As far as relief claimed in prayer clause (c) is concerned, the petitioner is always at liberty to approach the State Police Complaint Authority and, therefore, we are not inclined to entertain this prayer. 4.
