The petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents to register FIR on petitioner's complaint in respect of the death of Smt. Lilabai Vasantrao Fartale and Smt. Parvatibai Mahashu Fartale. Smt. Lilabai Vasantrao Fartale was the mother and Smt. Parvatibai Mahashu Fartale was the grandmother of the petitioner. Both of them died on 4th October, 2001, at village - Fartalewadi. 907 WP 2699.16.doc petitioner that Smt. Lilabai Vasantrao Fartale and Smt. Parvatibai Mahashu Fartale committed suicide by consuming poison, ADR No.40 of 2001 was recorded by Police Inspector, Yeola Taluka Police Station. The petitioner's age as of today is 34 years. At the time of the alleged incident, he was 19 year old. For past 16 years, the petitioner did not make any grievance or expressed suspicion regarding the death of his mother and grandmother. No purpose would be served by directing the police to register the FIR. We are, therefore, not inclined to entertain the petition. The same is, accordingly, dismissed. (DR.
