The Applicant, apprehending arrest in connection with the investigation of Crime No.207/2018 of Police Station Swargate, Pune under Section 420, 465 and 467 of IPC, is seeking anticipatory bail.

The FIR in this case is lodged by the Recovery Officer working with the Jansmall Finance Company. The allegation is that the main accused Vitthal Ghorpade had tendered forged documents for obtaining a loan. In so far as the present Applicant is concerned, the allegation is that he had helped the Mamta Kale page 1 of 2

18-aba-1529-19 main accused in preparing those documents. This Court after noticing that except the statement of the co-accused there is no material with the Investigating Agency against the present Applicant, had granted interim protection to the Applicant on 15 July 2019 which is operating till today.

Learned APP states that the investigation is complete and the chargesheet is filed. The main accused has been arrested and released on bail.

In such circumstances, the order granting interim protection on 15 July 2019 is hereby confirmed subject to the condition that the Applicant shall co-operate with the Investigating Agency, in the event if any further investigation is required to be carried out. The Applicant shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence / witnesses.
