Heard the applicant, who appears in person, and Shri H. S. Venegaonkar, the learned counsel for the respondent No. 2/CBI.

2. The applicant is seeking permission to travel abroad only for a short duration. In the past, the trial Court, pending trial, allowed the applicant to travel abroad. The applicant, as is evident, did not abuse the liberty granted to him. Now, too, it does not appear to me that the applicant will abscond if permitted to go abroad.

3. In these circumstances, I am inclined to allow the Order modified as per Speaking to Minutes dated 21.08.2019. 1/2

4. So the Court permits the applicant to visit the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, France, Hungary, Germany from 17.10.2019 to 2.11.2019 (both days inclusive) on the following conditions :

(a) The applicant shall execute a personal bond for Rs. 25,000/- as security for his appearance before this Court.

(b) The applicant shall give at least 48 hours' previous notice, in writing, to the Investigation Officer regarding his travel details, such as Flight No., Ticket No., Visa, and so forth.

(c) The applicant shall also give to the Investigating Officer, in writing, his address/addresses and contact telephone numbers abroad, to be available for communication.

(d) The applicant shall return to India by 3.11.2019 and report this fact to this Court by remaining present on the next date of hearing after his return."
