This is an application for extension of time to deposit Rs.10,00,000/- in the trial Court in accordance with order dated 19th July, 2022 passed by this Court in Interim Application No.21645 of 2022.

Learned Advocate for the applicant submit that while suspending the sentence of imprisonment the applicant was directed to deposite Rs. 10,00,000/- in the trial Court within a period of three weeks from the date of order. However, the applicant was in custody. He had furnished bail bond and actually Sunny Thote

(P-2)-2600-2022.doc released from prison on 3rd August, 2022. The period of three weeks as per the order dated 19th July, 2022 was over on 9th August, 2022. It is difficult for the appellant to arrang the huge amount. The family members of the applicant requires reasonable time to arrange the funds for depositing it in the trial Court. Hence, extension of six weeks be granted to the applicant to deposit the amount.

Learned counsel for the Respondent submitted that sufficient time was granted to the applicant to deposit the amount. 4.

Considering the submission of Advocate for applicant time to deposit the amount of Rs.10,00,000/- before the trial Court in compliance with order dated 19th July, 2022 passed by this Court in Interim Application No.2165 of 2022 is extended by six weeks from today.

Interim Application stands disposed of.
