Heard learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submitted that the Petitioner was working as Mason in Respondent - Khopoli Municipal Council. Petitioner by a communication dated 13th February, 2019 requested to the Respondent to look into his grievance. The copy of the same is placed on record at Exhibit - C at page 16 to the petition. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner further submits that said communication be treated as representation to the authorities. Learned Counsel then submitted that the Respondent acknowledgment of receiving the communication is placed on record at page 18 to the petition. Learned Counsel further submits that the Respondent be directed to decide the representation within Umesh Malani

5.WP.10486.2018.doc a reasonable period as the Petitioner is claiming is retiral benefits. 3.

Considering the limited grievance, we deem it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition with direction to Respondent to treat the communication dated 17th February, 2018 as a representation and decide the same as expeditiously as possible and not later than 8 weeks from the receipt of copy of this order. 4.

With the above directions, Writ Petition is disposed of. 5.
