1] The impugned notices have been issued in exercise of the powers under the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 (for short the "said Code"). Under the impugned notices, directions have been issued to the petitioner calling upon him to deposit certain amounts. 2] The petitioner has an efficacious remedy available under the said Code. By keeping the said remedy expressly open, we dispose of this petition.

3] If the petitioner avails of the remedy under the said Code, the concerned authority is bound to note that the present petition was filed on 5th August 2016 and that the same remained pending in this Court till today.

4] All contentions on merits are kept open.
