This is an application received through Jail for expediting the trial pertaining to Sessions Case No.182/2014 pending on the file of Additional Sessions Judge, Vasai and/or for conducting it before the fast track Court. The record indicates that the applicant was arrested on 2.11.2013 and since then he is in Jail. That, after filing of the charge sheet by police the Trial Court has framed Charge on 16.7.2014 however, the trial thereafter did not proceed.

The applicant in his letter has stated that he is aged about 60 years and he is in Jail for last more than four years. 3.

In view thereof, the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Vasai seized of Sessions Case No.182/2014 is hereby directed Page -1/2

908-appln. 429-17 to expedite the hearing of the said case and as far as possible conduct the same on day to day basis. The learned Additional Sessions Judge is directed to make an endeavor to conclude the hearing of the said trial within a period of one year from the date of receipt of the present order.

Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. 5.
