Heard the learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner, the learned AGP for first, third, fifth and sixth Respondents. We have heard the learned counsel appearing for the fourth Respondent. On the basis of application at Exhibit-D, the Advisory Committee has submitted its recommendations to the District Collector, Thane who is the Designated Officer to consider the proposal for regularisation under the Act of 2006. A copy of the said recommendation is produced for perusal of the Court by the learned counsel appearing for the fourth Respondent. The recommendation has been forwarded to the Collector on 26th March, 2015.

Hence, the Petition need not be kept pending and the same is disposed of by passing the following order :

ORDER

(i) We direct the Collector of District Thane to consider the proposal for regularisation in the light of the recommendations of the Advisory Committee and to take appropriate decision thereon within a period of eight weeks from the date on which an authenticated copy of this order is produced by the Petitioner in the office of the District Collector;

(ii) All contentions on merits of the application of regularisation are kept open.

(iii) All concerned to act upon the authenticated copy of this order.
