Petitioner No.1 with his Advocate. Respondent No.1 - Complainant is present with her Advocate. They jointly state that the matrimonial dispute between the parties is already amicably settled and marriage between them is dissolved by mutual consent. Now, praying to quash the M.E.C.R. No.1 of 2016 dated 27/01/2016 registered at Jogeshwari Police Station, under Sections 498A, 406, 313, 504 and 506 read with 34 of the IPC and under Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Respondent No.1 states that she is not interested in prosecuting the matter further.

As the marital tie is already severed, we accept the request made by the Respondent No.1 and accordingly make Rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (b).
