The petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeks the provisional release of goods imported under Bill of Entry dated 7 June 2019.

After the petition was filed, the Commissioner of CustomsRespondent No.3 has passed an order dated 16 July 2019 ordering the provisional release of the goods covered under the Bill of Entry dated 7 June 2019.

Mr.Jetly, learned Counsel appearing for the Revenue, states that the Petitioner importer by his letter dated 23 July 2019 addressed to the Deputy Commissioner of Customs accepted the order allowing provisional release of the goods. Mr.Jetly tenders a copy of the letter dated 23 July 2019 addressed by the Petitioner to the Deputy Commissioner of Customs, SIIB Department, New Custom House, Nhava Sheva. The letter is taken on record and marked "A" for identification.
