..

CORAM:
DR. MANJULA CHELLUR, C. J. AND M. S. SONAK, J.
DATE :
25 NOVEMBER 2016 P.C.:
1] On hearing learned counsel for the petitioners, we appreciate fairness in the submissions that he would not press prayer (a) of the petition. Then coming to prayer (b), again a submission was made that the issue is already pending before the Apex Court, therefore, the same need not be enquired into, at this stage. 2] Rest of the prayers seem to be seeking quashing of the FIR referred to in prayer (c) and consequential reliefs. Since the prayers (a) and (b) are not to be considered as submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners, we are afraid that the entire bulky pleadings in the writ petition need not be considered so far as prayer (c) and other consequential reliefs.
skc 903-WP-2724-16 3] In that view of the matter, we dispose of the writ petition by reserving liberty to the petitioners to file a proper petition for quashing the FIR in question and other consequential reliefs with reference to relevant facts.
CHIEF JUSTICE (M. S. SONAK, J.) chandka
