This is an application seeking restoration of the revision application No. 170 of 2000 which was dismissed for want of prosecution by an order dated 25/7/2014. The learned Counsel for the applicant submits that she has been recently entrusted with the present application.

For the reasons assigned in paragraphs 3 and 4 of the application, the application deserves to be allowed in the interest of justice. The order dated 25/7/2011 dismissing the application for non-prosecution is recalled. Criminal Revision Application No. 170 of 2000 is restored to its original status. The application is allowed on the above terms and disposed of accordingly.
