The challenge in this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India was to the direction contained in paragraph 5 of the order passed by the National Green Tribunal (Western Zone) on 2nd July 2015.

Our attention is invited to the order dated 1st October 2016 passed by the National Green Tribunal in Execution Application No.15 of 2016. The said application was filed for execution of the order dated 2nd July 2015. In the said order dated 1st October 2016, a statement of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has been recorded that work order will be issued for setting up effluent disposal systems within a period of six months and that the systems will be established within a period of three years from the date on which the work order is issued. The

wp-8158.15.doc execution application has been disposed of by order dated 7th December 2016. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in view of the said orders, the present petition does not survive. Accordingly, the petition is disposed of.
