The learned APP submits that during the pendency of this application, the wife of the applicant has been arrested and taken into custody. Upon instructions from the Investigating Officer, it is submitted that the investigating agency is likely to file the supplementary charge under Section 173(8) of Cr.P.C. It is on this basis that the learned counsel for the applicant seeks liberty to withdraw the application. Liberty as prayed for is granted in the interest of justice with further liberty to renew the prayer for bail after filing of supplementary charge-sheet. Application stands disposed of as withdrawn.

It is made clear that the application has not been heard on merits.
