Learned Counsel for Respondent No.1 pointed out that against the impugned order there is remedy of fling a Revision before the State Government under section 257 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966. In the light of this position, learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that he may be allowed to avail of the remedy of Revision under section 257 of Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 before the State Government.

In view of the alternate remedy available, the Petitioner is at liberty to fle a Revision before the State 1/2

If the Revision is fled before the State Government within a period of 2 weeks from today, the stay granted by this Court vide order dated 06/08/2019 to continue till the application for stay is decided by the Revisional Authority. The stay application to be decided within a period of 4 weeks from the date of fling of Revision after due notice to the Respondent No.1. 4.

In case, the Revision is fled against the impugned order by the Petitioner within a period of 2 weeks from today, Revisional Authority is requested to hear and decide the Revision expeditiously and preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of fling of the Revision.

The time spent by the Petitioner in prosecuting this Petition bonafde be favourably considered by the Revisional Authority if a question of condonation of delay arises in entertaining the Revision Application.
