The Petitioner was granted parole. Pursuant thereto, he was released from prison on 21st June 2017 for a period of 45 days. Thereafter, the Petitioner preferred an application for extension of parole before the concerned authority. The Petitioner is now seeking extension of parole for a further period of 15 days.

The application of the Petitioner for extension of parole is pending before the concerned authority. Hence, it is not possible for this Court to interfere in the said matter. The only order which can be passed by this Court is that the concerned authorities shall dispose of the said application of the Petitioner as expeditiously as possible. 5.
