This is an application seeking modification of the order dated 13th July 2017. The applicant has been directed to be released on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more local sureties in the like amount.

Learned advocate for the applicant submits that the applicant is resident of Mumbai and will be in a position to arrange the surety from residential area of the applicant which is Mumbai. The Trial Court, however, has insisted that in view of the order passed by this Court, the applicant should furnish local surety from Thane. It is, therefore, prayed that condition No.6(ii) of the order dated 13th July 2017 may be relaxed by permitting the applicant to furnish surety from Mumbai.

Considering the submissions advanced by learned advocate for the applicant, the order dated 13th July 2017 is modified and it is directed that the applicant be released on bail on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. The applicant is permitted to furnish surety from Mumbai. 4.

Criminal Application is disposed of.
