Mrs. Diwan, learned AGP for the State on instruction states that the caste claim of the petitioner would be decided within four weeks from today without fail. She further states that the next date before the Caste Scrutiny Committee is fixed as 12th December, 2021 when the petitioner would be heard. Statement is accepted. The petitioner is directed to remain present before the respondent no.2-Committee on the date assigned and thereafter without fail and shall not seek any unnecessary adjournment.

The order that would be passed by the respondent no.2Committee shall be communicated to the petitioner within one week from the date of passing of such order. If the said order is adverse against the petitioner, the petitioner would be at liberty to file

In view of the statement made by the learned AGP we do not propose to take any action under Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 against the respondents. If the order is not complied with within the extended period, this Court will initiate an appropriate action against the respondents under the provisions of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. 4.

Contempt Petition is disposed of in aforesaid terms. There shall be no order as to costs.
