26 wp 7840.18.doc IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION NO.7840 of 2018 Suraj s/o. Narayan Divekar and anr.

.....Petitioners versus The State of Maharashtra and anr.

.....Respondents None for the petitioner.

Mrs. M. P. Thakur, AGP for the State.

Mr. Rahul Nerlekar, advocate for the respondent No.2. CORAM : RANJIT MORE & SMT. BHARATI H. DANGRE, JJ.

DATE : 6th JUNE, 2019.

P. C. :

None appears for the petitioner. Mr. Nerlekar, learned counsel for the respondent No.2, makes a statement that the grievance in the petition does not survive since the selection process, which is the subject matter of the petition, is already completed and the posts of peons are already filled in by the eligible candidates. He has also placed on record, a communication addressed by the Registrar (Admn) seeking permission to fill 11 posts from the Wait List. In our opinion, the writ petition is rendered infructuous in view of the subsequent developments and, therefore, the same is disposed of as such.
