This is an Application for condonation of delay of 165 days in filing the Appeal. The Appeal was preferred through jail challenging the judgment and order dated 17/12/2021 passed by Additional Sessions Judge, Sangli in Special Case (POCSO) No. 70 of 2018.

Learned counsel for the Applicant states that he is appointed through Legal Services Authority of this Court. The applicant is in poor financial condition. He could not afford a Ashish

6 IA 2671-22 private Advocate and he had to seek assistance of a legal aid counsel. All these has caused delay.

Considering these submissions and in the interest of justice delay of 165 days in preferring the Appeal is condoned. The Appeal be processed further.
