The order impugned by the petitioner who is original accused in a proceeding under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 directs the petitioner to deposit 25% amount of the compensation within one (1) month from today. 2.

On perusal of the order, it appears that the learned Sessions Judge has assigned plausible reasons for arriving at the said amount of compensation at the rate of 25%.

Learned advocate for the petitioner states that the petitioner is ready to deposit 25% of the compensation as directed by the Appellate Court within one month from today. In that view of the matter, the petitioner is permitted in both petitions to deposit 25%

The writ petitions are, therefore, disposed of. No costs. (AMIT BORKAR, J.)
