Heard the learned counsel for the Applicant and the learned additional public prosecutor for the State. The applicant has filed revision application against the order of dismissal of the appeal, confirming the conviction of the applicant for the offence punishable under section 138 of Borey 1/2

spb/ pr2revn376-appr330-15.sxw the Negotiable Instruments Act. This criminal application is for bail and suspension of sentence.

After hearing the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State, I pass the following order : The applicant be released on bail in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount of a cash deposit of Rs. 15,000/- in lieu of surety. The applicant shall deposit Rs.10,00,000/- in the trial court within a period of two months from today either by lump sum or in two installments. If the said amount is not paid within the said period, bail order shall stand revoked. The substantive sentence shall remain suspended during the period of bail.

The criminal application stands disposed of.
