Learned counsel Mr.Venegavkar, representing the Directorate of Enforcement, has instructions to make a statement that custodial interrogation of the applicant is not necessary in the wake of the accusations levelled against him and the purpose would be served, if he is directed to attend to the Assistant Director, Mumbai Zone-II on particular dates. 2.

Accepting the said statement, the applicant deserves protection from arrest in PMLA Special Case No.14 of 2018. Hence, the following order.

(a) Application is allowed.

(b) In the event of arrest in connection with PMLA Spl.Case No.14 of 2018, applicant-Santosh Shrawan Mali shall be released on bail on furnishing P.R. Bond to the extent of Rs.5O,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

(c) The applicant shall report to the concerned Officer on 17th, 18th and 19th October, 2022 between 3.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. and, thereafter, as and when called for. (d) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him from disclosing the facts to Court or any Police Officer and shall not tamper with evidence.
