The record indicates that, the Investigating Officer has recorded the statements of the Revenue Authorities. It is informed that the 7/12 Extract pertaining to Gat No. 305/34 of village Dhamanand produced by the Applicant, is a genuine document. It prima facie appears that, the Applicant has not committed forgery in the revenue records.

In view of the above, the custodial interrogation of the Applicant for further investigation of the present crime is not necessary.

Interim relief granted by an Order dated 30th July, 2018 is hereby confirmed. However, the condition to attend the Investigating Officer of the concerned Police Station is waived. Application is allowed in the aforesaid terms. In view of Order passed today in Anticipatory Bail Application No. 1460 of 2018, Criminal Application No. 997 of 2018 does not survive and is accordingly disposed off. (A.S. GADKARI, J.) 2/2
