The only relief sought by way of the above Petition is a direction that the Petitioner's Appeal filed on 13.03.2018 u/s.39(3) of the Maharashtra Gram Panchayats Act, be decided in a particular time frame. We are informed that an Appeal has also been filed by the disqualified Sarpanch, which is also pending. We, therefore, direct the Appellate Authority i.e. Hon'ble Minister for Rural Development, Government of Maharashtra, to hear and decide both the Appeals expeditiously and latest by 30.09.2018. In view of the nature of directions issued, the need to issue notice to Respondent No.3 is obviated. With the directions as aforesaid, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
