Having heard the learned counsel for the Petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the Respondent -State, we deem it convenient to dispose of the petition by directing Respondent No.1-State to decide Petitioner's application /proposal dated 17.7.2014 for grant of approval under clause (b) of sub-section (1) under section 36A of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966, copy of which is annexed at Exh.A, as expeditiously as possible and preferrably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of this order and thereafter communicate the same to the Petitioner. The Petitioner shall remain present before the Respondent No.1-State on 29.8.2016 at 11.00 a.m. alongwith the copy of this order and copy of the said application /proposal.

Needless to mention that we have not gone into the merits of the matter and Respondent No.1-State shall decide the said application /proposal on its own merit.
