The Petitioner is seeking to challenge the provisional voters list dated 12 July 2023 published by Respondent No.2, that is, the Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Khalapur, District-Raigad in respect of the co-operative society in question. 2.

According to the Petitioner, the preparation of provisional voters list itself is bad in law as it is prepared at the instance of Secretary of the elected body of the co-operative society which is under suspension.

What is in question is the provisional voters list, by its very nature is not yet final. We are informed that the date of publishing the final voters list is of 3 August 2023. The Petitioner has submitted objection regarding his non-inclusion. We permit the Petitioner to file additional objection in respect of the contentions raised in the Petition. If the Petitioner lodges his additional objection by 1 August 2023, the same shall be decided on its own merits before 3 August 2023, that is, last date as per the programme. 3.

The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. 4.

All contentions of the parties are kept open. 5.
