As of today, the issue of fourth Respondent attracting disqualification is academic in the sense that from August, 2017 the fourth Respondent is no longer an elected councilor of the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation.

The other contentions which are raised in this petition are kept open, which can be agitated by filing a separate proceeding as and when such occasion arises. Subject to what is observed above, writ petition is disposed of.
