The claim of the petitioner is pending for verification before the Scrutiny Committee at Nashik. The petitioner claims to be belonging to Koli Mahadev Scheduled Tribe. The petitioner has filed the petition because she is claiming admission for the academic year 2018-19 to a degree course in the fourth respondent educational institution. The degree course which she want to pursue as a candidate admitted against a reserved seat, obliges her to produce this certificate of validity. Since the claim is pending before the Scrutiny Committee at Nashik, but we were constrained to observe adversely about the performance of that committee and forthwith restrain the members of that committee J.V.Salunke,PA

502(ii)-WP.8309.2018.doc from discharging duties as committee members, we deem it proper to direct the papers and proceedings of this case to be handed over to the Scrutiny Committee at Thane. 2.

The petitioner shall appear before that committee tomorrow i.e. 2nd August, 2018 at 3.00 p.m. That committee shall verify and scrutinise the claim as expeditiously as possible and before 8th August, 2018. With these directions, the writ petition is disposed of.

Mr. Mendadkar states that the petitioner will not raise the issue of jurisdiction and competence of the Scrutiny Committee at Thane and will co-operate for expeditious disposal of the claim. (SMT.
