DATE : MARCH 20, 2018 P.C.:- The original complainant Mr.Kamalakar Parshuram Mhatre is present in the court and is identified through his Aadhar Card No.2682 1096 1436. He was put in the witness box. He claims that balance amount of Rs.1,24,663/- remained to be paid by the applicants-accused can be accepted and the matter can be disposed of as compoundable.

The learned counsel for the applicants-accused tendered a demand draft dated March 13, 2018 of the Kunbi Sahakari Bank Ltd., Girgaon, Mumbai bearing account No.SB/31628.

The said demand draft is handed over by the learned counsel for the applicants-accused to the learned counsel for respondent No.2 complainant and the complainant acknowledges receipt of the same.

In view of this development, the offence is compoundable in above terms pursuant to the provisions of section 147 of the Negotiable Instruments Act,1881. The petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b).
