CORAM

: AMIT BORKAR, J.

DATED : MAY 3, 2024 P.C.:

1.

The writ petitions arise out of an order passed by the Appellate Authority under section 152A of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960. The period of election appears to be from 2006 to 2011. Therefore, the scope of appeal under section 152A of the Maharashtra Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 is validity of an order passed by the Returning Officer rejecting nomination paper of a candidate. Hence, due to expiry of period of election, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present writ petitions. The writ petitions are, therefore, disposed of as infructuous. No costs.

2.

In view of disposal of the writ petitions, all pending interlocutory application(s), if any, stands disposed of as infructuous.
