The prayer in this Petition, received through jail, is that the substantive sentence of the Petitioner shall be computed by computing days and nights separately. This prayer is completely contrary to Rule 10 of the Maharashtra Prisons (Execution of the Orders of the Courts and Release of Prisoners) Rules, 1972. Hence, the Petition is rejected.
