None appears for the petitioner. Only prayer made in this petition is for directing the Court of Judicial Magistrate (First Class), Kolhapur, to expedite the hearing of pending criminal case of the year 2011.

Judicial notice will have to be taken of the fact that large number of criminal cases are pending in the Courts of Magistrates at Kolhapur. The remedy of the petitioner is to apply to the concerned Court for expediting the hearing of the criminal case.

Writ as prayed for cannot be issued. We accordingly dispose of the petition by keeping the remedy of the petition open.
