The grievance of the Petitioner is that Police has not registered a first information report pursuant to his complaint dated 27 July 2016. Learned APP states that if Petitioner appears before the investigating officer of the concerned police station tomorrow, his statement would be recorded and thereafter decision would be taken and communicated to the Petitioner. The Petitioner undertakes to meet the investigating officer tomorrow.

In case the decision taken by the investigating officer is adverse to the Petitioner, he may resort to appropriate remedies in accordance with law. With this observation, the petition stands disposed of.
