Although this application is listed for extension of interim order, the same can be disposed of in view of the submissions made on behalf of the State.

The Applicant apprehending arrest in connection with the investigation of Crime No. 295 of 2021 of Police station Pandharpur, District Solapur under Section 307, 324, 143, 147, 148 and 149 of IPC and Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act, 1951, is seeking anticipatory bail.

The perusal of the record shows that the Applicant was not named by the informant in FIR dated 16.05.2021 and the name of Sneha Chavan page 1 of 2

907 aba 2376-21.doc the Applicant figured in the supplementary statement recorded on 21.05.2021. The investigation is complete and the chargesheet is filed. In such circumstances, the learned APP on instructions from the Investigating Officer states that the custody of the Applicant is not necessary for the purpose of investigation. There is an interim protection operating in favour of the Applicant since 13.10.2021. 4.

Considering the over all circumstances, the following order is passed :

ORDER

i) In the event of his arrest, in connection with the investigation of Crime No. 295 of 2021 of Police station Pandharpur, District Solapur, the applicant shall be released on bail on executing a PR Bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one or two solvent sureties in the like amount.

ii) The Applicant shall co-operate with the investigating agency as and when required and shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence and witnesses.
